An iPhone version named "Mera Ration App" is listed on the App Store, but we did not open that listing, so its details are unconfirmed. If an app has a different developer name, it is not the official one.
Download and set up: step by step

What is new in Mera Ration 2.0
According to news reports (The Mooknayak), Mera Ration 2.0 was launched on 20 August 2024 and announced by Union Minister Pralhad Joshi. We could not find a PIB press release, so the date is from news reports only. "Mera Ration 2.0" is the later version of the same app, so you do not need a separate download: update the existing app from the Play Store.
Adding or managing family members: many websites say the app lets you add members. This is not confirmed as an official feature. Some Play Store reviews mention trouble "updating or managing family members", which suggests such a function exists, but it is not officially confirmed. In Madhya Pradesh, member changes are commonly described as going through Samagra; confirm with your Gram Panchayat or ward office, and see MP ration card apply.

Using the app in Madhya Pradesh
MP families who move between districts or to other states can use the app to find a shop and check what has been lifted. According to news reports from April 2026, 18,55,554 MP families used inter-district portability. Stay safe with ration apps
- Install only from the Play Store or App Store, and check the developer name.
- Do not install APK files shared on WhatsApp claiming to be "Mera Ration 2.0".
- The official app is free. Nobody should charge to install it or "activate" your card.
- Never share an OTP with callers, even if they say they are helping you with the app.
