In Madhya Pradesh, the "ration card" you download is usually the patrata parchi, an eligibility slip linked to your Samagra family. Here are the official routes, what is confirmed, and what is not.

Many people search "MP ration card download" when they need a copy of their card for a form, a bank, or a school. In Madhya Pradesh, families who are eligible under the National Food Security Act get a patrata parchi (पात्रता पर्ची, eligibility slip) linked to their Samagra Family ID, rather than a traditional booklet. So the "download" is usually a printout of that slip.

Download the patrata parchi from Ration Mitra
Ration Mitra has an official page titled "पात्रता पर्ची प्राप्त करें" (get eligibility slip). We could not open its content when researching, so the steps below come from a secondary website. The screen you see may be different.
- Open the official page: rationmitra.nic.in patrata parchi page. Check the address ends in nic.in.
- If you start from the Ration Mitra home page instead, look for an option such as "Patrata Parchi Download Search".
- Type the 8-digit Samagra Family ID, then choose the month and year.
- Type the captcha shown on screen.
- Click "Show Details", check the names, then click "Print Parchi" to print or save as PDF.
- If the page asks for an Aadhaar OTP, only continue on the official nic.in page. Whether an OTP is required is not confirmed.

Check district-wise card details
nfsa.gov.in lists the Ration Mitra district-wise RC summary as MP's ration card details portal. This page gives counts of cards and beneficiaries by district. It is a summary, not a personal card copy. For how to drill down, read our MP ration card list page. For shop-level card counts, there is also the Key Register on the AePDS MP portal.
Mera Ration app
The Mera Ration app is the central One Nation One Ration Card app, developed by the National Informatics Centre (Play Store id com.nic.onenationonecard, 10M+ downloads). According to PIB, it shows entitlement details, recent transactions, nearby fair price shops and eligibility criteria. It is useful for checking what your family is entitled to, but it is not confirmed to produce a printable MP patrata parchi. See our Mera Ration app guide.
Is the MP ration card on DigiLocker?
Ration cards are issued into DigiLocker by individual state departments. The confirmed issuers we found are Rajasthan, Meghalaya, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Puducherry. Madhya Pradesh is not on that confirmed list. The full issuer list was not available, so MP may or may not be added. Open DigiLocker, search the issued documents for Madhya Pradesh food department, and if no ration card option appears, use the Ration Mitra route above.
A printout is not a new card
A printed patrata parchi shows what is on record. It does not create or change eligibility. If your family is not found, a name is missing, or the slip shows the wrong category, the fix happens through Samagra and the Gram Panchayat (rural) or urban body ward office (urban). Avoid paid download scams
- The official slip page is a public page on rationmitra.nic.in that you can open yourself. Be careful with agents or websites that charge money to "download your ration card" or ask for personal details first.
- Never share an OTP or your Aadhaar number with a caller or on WhatsApp.
- Check the address bar: official MP ration pages are on rationmitra.nic.in, epos.mp.gov.in or food.mp.gov.in.
- This site has no download tool and collects no personal data.

How can I download my MP ration card?
In MP, the downloadable document is the patrata parchi (eligibility slip). Ration Mitra has an official page titled 'पात्रता पर्ची प्राप्त करें'. A secondary source says you type the 8-digit Samagra Family ID, month, year and captcha, click Show Details, then Print Parchi. The live screen may differ, so follow what the official page shows.
Can I get the MP ration card PDF without Samagra ID?
The commonly described Ration Mitra search uses the Samagra Family ID, because MP's ration data is linked to Samagra. If you do not know it, ask at your Gram Panchayat, urban body ward office or ration shop. Do not pay unknown agents to find it, and never share your OTP with anyone who calls offering help.
Is the MP ration card available in DigiLocker?
Madhya Pradesh is not on the list of states we could confirm as DigiLocker ration card issuers. The confirmed ones are Rajasthan, Meghalaya, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Puducherry. Because the complete list was not available, check inside DigiLocker for a Madhya Pradesh food department ration card option. If none appears, use Ration Mitra.
What is an e ration card in MP?
People often use 'e ration card' to mean a digital copy they can print. In MP, that is usually the patrata parchi printed from Ration Mitra. It reflects the record held by the department and is linked to your Samagra family. A printout does not change eligibility; changes are made through the Gram Panchayat or ward office.
Does the Mera Ration app give a downloadable MP ration card?
The Mera Ration app by NIC shows entitlement details, recent transactions and nearby ration shops, according to PIB. We could not confirm that it produces a printable MP patrata parchi. Use it to check entitlement, and use the Ration Mitra slip page when you need a printed copy for paperwork.
My name is missing from the downloaded slip. What now?
Member additions and removals in MP are handled through Samagra. According to a secondary source, approval is by the Gram Panchayat Secretary or Ward In-charge, with documents such as a birth certificate for a newborn or a marriage certificate. Confirm locally, and if work is delayed, complain on the CM Helpline 181.
