epos.mp.gov.in is the official AePDS (Aadhaar enabled Public Distribution System) portal of Madhya Pradesh, listed on the central portal nfsa.gov.in as "FPS Automation". It publishes data from the ePoS machines at ration shops (fair price shops, उचित मूल्य दुकान): how many cards each shop serves, what was sold and what stock is left.
This page is an independent explanation written by AePDS MP Guide. We are not the portal and have no connection with the MP government or NIC. We do not ask for any card number, Samagra ID, Aadhaar or OTP. One honest note: when we researched this page, direct access to epos.mp.gov.in was blocked for us, so the report list below comes from the central portal nfsa.gov.in and the menu details from a secondary source, as marked.
हिंदी में सारांश
epos.mp.gov.in मध्य प्रदेश का आधिकारिक AePDS पोर्टल है, जिसे nfsa.gov.in पर FPS Automation के नाम से सूचीबद्ध किया गया है। यह वेबसाइट (aepdsmp.net) एक स्वतंत्र गाइड है, सरकारी पोर्टल नहीं। epos.mp.gov.in
Report pages listed on nfsa.gov.in
The central government's NFSA portal links these MP pages directly. They follow the same page structure used by AePDS sites in several states (Bihar, Delhi, Assam, Punjab, Haryana and Tripura use the same .jsp pattern).
| Report | Page | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Home (FPS Automation) | epos.mp.gov.in | Entry point to transaction, sales and stock reports |
| Key Register (RC count) | KeyRegCards_Interface.jsp | Number of ration cards and units (members) |
| FPS sales register | FPS_Trans_Abstract.jsp | Shop-wise transactions |
| Sales-stock abstract | Stock_Interface.jsp | Stock received and sold |
| Complete abstract | CompleteAbstract.jsp | State-level summary |
These are summary reports. They are useful for checking whether your shop is running, how much it distributed, and how many cards are attached to it.
How to open and read a report
The screens below are described in general terms. Labels may differ when you visit.
- Open epos.mp.gov.in directly, or follow the link from nfsa.gov.in/state/MP. Check the address ends in mp.gov.in.
- For card counts, open the Key Register page. Such reports usually start at state level with a row per district.
- Click a district name to go one level down, usually to tehsil or shop level. Keep clicking the blue figures or names to drill down.
- For distribution, open the FPS sales register. Pick the month and year if asked.
- For stock, open the sales-stock abstract.
- If a page does not load, try again later, try another browser, or start from the nfsa.gov.in link. Government report servers are often slow at the start of the month.
What epos.mp.gov.in can and cannot do
- It can show shop-level and district-level distribution, stock and card counts.
- It cannot issue a new ration card or patrata parchi, add a member, or complete e-KYC. Those happen at the Gram Panchayat or ward office and at the ration shop. See how to apply and MP e-KYC.
- It is not the main place for the eligibility slip. For that, use Ration Mitra. Read our Ration Mitra guide and khadyan parchi guide.
- For a district-wise list of cards and beneficiaries, nfsa.gov.in points to the Ration Mitra district summary, explained on our MP ration card list page.
Why these reports matter to families
Shop reports help you check that your dealer is distributing ration. If the sales register shows your shop distributed in a month but your family did not receive ration, note the month and shop number and complain on 181 (CM Helpline) or 1967. The MP food department's toll-free number listed on scm.mp.gov.in is 1800-3456-194. More on our helpline page.
Stock movement from warehouses to shops is tracked on a separate official site, the supply chain portal scm.mp.gov.in (IAeSCM).
Where AePDS came from
The AePDS model started in Andhra Pradesh, where Phase I began on 1 Apr 2015 with technical support from NIC Andhra Pradesh. It runs on Java, PostgreSQL and other open-source components. Other states copied the model. In MP, about 22,000 ration shops were on Ae-PDS by October 2019, as reported in 2020, and nfsa.gov.in now lists 25,103 operational ePoS machines in the state. Compare other states on our AePDS state portals page.
Safety tips
Some unofficial sites copy the look of AePDS pages. The real MP portal ends in epos.mp.gov.in. Report pages do not need your Aadhaar or OTP. If any site or caller asks for an OTP to "show your ration report", do not share it. This guide has no login and never asks for personal details.
Frequently asked questions
What is epos.mp.gov.in used for?
epos.mp.gov.in is Madhya Pradesh's official AePDS portal, called FPS Automation on nfsa.gov.in. It publishes reports from the ePoS machines at ration shops: card counts in the Key Register, shop-wise sales, stock, and a complete state abstract. It is a reporting site. It does not issue ration cards or eligibility slips and it does not do e-KYC.
How do I check my ration shop's distribution on epos MP?
Open the FPS sales register (FPS_Trans_Abstract.jsp) on epos.mp.gov.in, choose the month and year if asked, then click through district and tehsil to your shop. Labels can change, so look for words like FPS, Transaction or Sales. If the page will not load, try later or open it from the link on nfsa.gov.in/state/MP.
Is there an RC Details option on epos.mp.gov.in?
A secondary source says the AePDS MP menu has an RC Details report that asks for month, year and RC number. We could not confirm the exact page address on the live portal, so we do not link to it. If you cannot find it, use the Ration Mitra pages or ask your ration dealer to show your transaction on the ePoS machine.
Do I need a login for epos.mp.gov.in reports?
The report pages linked from nfsa.gov.in, such as the Key Register, FPS sales register and stock abstract, are published as public reports. If a screen asks for a username and password, it is usually meant for officials or dealers, not citizens. A public report should never need your Aadhaar number or an OTP, so be careful with any site that asks for them.
Why is epos.mp.gov.in not opening?
Government report servers can be slow or down, especially around the start of the month when shops are busy. Try again later, use a different browser or mobile data, and check that the address is exactly epos.mp.gov.in. You can also reach the pages through the links on nfsa.gov.in/state/MP, which lists MP's official portals.
Is aepdsmp.net connected to epos.mp.gov.in?
No. aepdsmp.net is an independent guide that explains the official portal in simple language. It has no connection with the MP government, the food department or NIC, and it cannot change or fix any record. For official work, use epos.mp.gov.in, rationmitra.nic.in, your ration shop, or the CM Helpline on 181.
