In Madhya Pradesh, people say khadyan parchi (खाद्यान्न पर्ची) or khadya parchi, but the official name is patrata parchi (पात्रता पर्ची), meaning eligibility slip. MP issues this slip linked to the family's Samagra record instead of a traditional ration card booklet. With it, the family takes ration at its fair price shop after Aadhaar authentication on the ePoS machine.

What the patrata parchi is
- It is proof that your family is eligible for ration under the National Food Security Act in MP.
- It is tied to the Samagra Family ID. The official application form also asks for each member's Samagra ID.
- Eligible families fall in two NFSA groups: Antyodaya (AAY) and priority households (प्राथमिक परिवार), per the MP State Civil Supplies Corporation.
- Entitlement: 5 kg foodgrain per member per month for priority households, 35 kg per family for AAY, plus 1 kg salt per family, and sugar at Rs 20 per kg for AAY only (mpscsc.mp.gov.in).
How to check and print the khadyan parchi
These steps are from a secondary website and may not match the live screen exactly. If the page looks different, look for similar words.
- Open the official page: rationmitra.nic.in "पात्रता पर्ची प्राप्त करें". Confirm the address ends in nic.in.
- From the Ration Mitra home page, the option may be called "Patrata Parchi Download Search".
- Type the 8-digit Samagra Family ID.
- Choose the month and year.
- Type the captcha.
- Click "Show Details", check that every member's name is correct, then click "Print Parchi". Use your phone or computer's print option to save it as PDF.
About OTP: the page name contains "Auth", so it may ask for Aadhaar authentication or an OTP. This is not confirmed. If an OTP is asked, enter it only on this official nic.in page, never give it to a person.
If the parchi does not show
- Wrong or unknown Samagra ID: ask your Gram Panchayat, ward office or ration shop. Do not pay agents.
- Family not eligible yet: you may need to apply (next section). Check eligibility categories.

How to apply for a new patrata parchi
The official form "राशन पात्रता पर्ची हेतु आवेदन" is submitted to the Gram Panchayat in rural areas or the urban local body / ward office in towns. According to the form:

The form's declaration says no member pays income tax and no member is a Class I, II or III employee of government, an autonomous body, a nationalised bank or a cooperative. Adding or removing a member
A secondary source says member changes are made through Samagra: a birth certificate for a newborn, and for a marriage, a marriage certificate plus deletion from the old family, with approval by the Gram Panchayat Secretary or Ward In-charge. This is not confirmed officially, so confirm at your local office. Removals of deceased, migrated or duplicate members are marked on the M Ration Mitra portal, as reported by Amar Ujala.
Keep your parchi active: e-KYC
