Ration Mitra (also written M Ration Mitra or m-Ration Mitra) is the Madhya Pradesh State Food Security Portal. It holds data on ration cards and patrata parchi (पात्रता पर्ची, eligibility slips), which in MP are linked to each family's Samagra record. The central portal nfsa.gov.in lists Ration Mitra as MP's ration card details portal.

Direct access to rationmitra.nic.in was blocked for us during research, so we describe the pages from nfsa.gov.in listings, search results and a secondary source, and say so wherever details are not confirmed.

How to use the district-wise RC summary
- Open the district-wise RC summary on rationmitra.nic.in.
- The report usually starts with one row per district, showing counts of ration cards and beneficiaries.
- Click your district's name or figures, if they are links, to see the next level.
- Keep clicking down to your area or shop where the report allows.
- Use the browser's print option if you need a copy of the summary.

How to get your patrata parchi from Ration Mitra
A secondary source describes these steps. Labels may differ on the live page.
- Open the official patrata parchi page, or look for "Patrata Parchi Download Search" on the Ration Mitra home page.
- Type the 8-digit Samagra Family ID, then choose the month and year.
- Type the captcha and click "Show Details".
- Check the names and click "Print Parchi".

Ration Mitra login: citizens vs officials
People often search "ration mitra login". Here is what we know:
- The pages above (district summary and patrata parchi) are public pages. The commonly described slip search uses your Samagra Family ID and a captcha, not a username and password.
- Ration Mitra is also used by the department for record work. For example, as reported by Amar Ujala in April 2025, deceased, permanently migrated or duplicate beneficiaries are marked for removal on the M Ration Mitra portal. That kind of work is done by authorised staff, not by citizens.
- We could not confirm any citizen login or citizen account on Ration Mitra. If a page asks you to create an account or pay, check that you are on rationmitra.nic.in or csmsmpscsc.mp.gov.in.

- Try again later; government servers are often busy around the start of the month.
- Try the alternate host csmsmpscsc.mp.gov.in/rationmitra.
- Reach MP pages from nfsa.gov.in/state/MP, which lists them.
- Ask your ration shop or Gram Panchayat to check your details.

Safety
Many unofficial sites use names like "Ration Mitra" or "AePDS". The genuine Ration Mitra pages are on rationmitra.nic.in or csmsmpscsc.mp.gov.in. Never share an OTP with a caller, and never pay for a slip printout from an agent who asks for your Samagra ID over WhatsApp.

nfsa.samagra.gov.in is listed on the Ujjain division website as the 'State Food Safety Portal, MP'. We could not confirm its current status, and it has probably been replaced by Ration Mitra. Use rationmitra.nic.in, which nfsa.gov.in currently lists, for ration card details in Madhya Pradesh.
Can I add a family member on Ration Mitra?
We found no confirmed citizen option for adding members on Ration Mitra. According to a secondary source, member changes are made through Samagra and approved by the Gram Panchayat Secretary or Ward In-charge, with documents like a birth or marriage certificate. Ask at your local office and complain on 181 if it is delayed.
