For Bihar, the central National Food Security portal nfsa.gov.in links to two official sites: the AePDS Bihar portal at epos.bihar.gov.in, which shows ePoS transaction and stock reports, and the district-wise ration card details page on epds.bihar.gov.in. With 1,79,07,319 ration cards listed for Bihar on nfsa.gov.in, these pages get heavy traffic, and so do many copycat sites.

The AePDS link comes from nfsa.gov.in State_ePoS_Portals (updated 13 October 2026) and the RC details link from nfsa.gov.in Ration_Card_State_Portals (updated 12 October 2026). Both use "http" addresses on the listing. Some lists online also mention sfc.bihar.gov.in for Bihar; that is commonly listed online but not confirmed in our sources, so confirm it on the official portal or at your supply office.

Whether Bihar's AePDS site has an "RC Details" search, and which inputs it uses, is not confirmed. On MP's site a secondary source says RC Details uses month, year and RC number. How to find your ration card on EPDS Bihar
- Open the EPDS district-wise ration card details page from nfsa.gov.in or the link above.
- Check that the address reads epds.bihar.gov.in.
- Click your district. The page usually then shows blocks or urban areas.
- Keep selecting your block, panchayat or ward and then your shop (dealer) if asked.
- Look for your family's card in the list. Use your browser's "find in page" option to search for the head of family's name.
- If your name is missing or the page layout looks different, contact your block supply office rather than an agent.
Pages that list names are often large and slow. Try at a quiet time if the page does not load.
For Bihar workers in other states
Many Bihar families have a member working in Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh or elsewhere. Under One Nation One Ration Card, an NFSA cardholder can take full or part of the ration at any fair price shop in India after Aadhaar authentication on the ePoS, while family members in Bihar lift the balance on the same card.
- Use the Mera Ration app to see entitlement and nearby shops.
- Call 14445 for portability complaints.
- A DFPD letter of 25 June 2024 says e-KYC can be done at any FPS regardless of domicile, so you need not travel home only for e-KYC. The NIC Mera eKYC app allows face e-KYC too.
Bihar entitlements and the 2025 rules
Under the National Food Security Act, AAY households get 35 kg foodgrains per household per month and priority households get 5 kg per person per month (nfsa.gov.in). The grain is free under PMGKAY for five years from 1 January 2024.
According to news reports on the TPDS (Control) Amendment Order, 2025, e-KYC of eligible households is to be repeated every five years, and cards with no lifting for six months can be temporarily disabled until verification. Using the reports to check your dealer
The AePDS reports are useful even if you cannot search by card. If your dealer says "stock has not come this month", the sales-stock abstract for your shop can show whether stock was received and how much has been distributed. The FPS sales register shows whether transactions are happening at the shop. If the reports show stock and sales but you were refused ration, note the month and shop name, and complain to your block supply office or the state helpline listed on nfsa.gov.in's toll-free page. Many states use 1967 for PDS calls, but check Bihar's number on that list.
Unofficial "AePDS Bihar" websites
Search results for "aepds bihar" often show private websites with names that look official. Some of them simply explain reports, but none of them can change your card. Keep in mind:
