If you live in Delhi and want to see ration shop transactions or check what was allocated on your ration card, two official addresses matter: the AePDS Delhi portal at epos.delhi.gov.in and the ration card allocation page on nfs.delhi.gov.in. Both are linked from the central National Food Security portal, nfsa.gov.in.
This guide is independent and is not run by the Delhi Government or any department. We explain what the pages are for, and we are honest about what we could not confirm. We do not collect ration card numbers, Aadhaar or OTPs.

Delhi's official ration portals
| Portal | Address | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| AePDS Delhi (ePoS) | epos.delhi.gov.in | Ration shop (FPS) transactions, stock and abstract reports from ePoS machines |
| RC allocation details | nfs.delhi.gov.in | Listed on nfsa.gov.in as Delhi's ration card details page; the page name points to allocation by ration card |
One detail to know: Delhi does not appear in the nfsa.gov.in State_ePoS_Portals table, but epos.delhi.gov.in is listed on the nfsa.gov.in Delhi state page (nfsa.gov.in/State/DL). The RC details link comes from the nfsa.gov.in Ration Card State Portals list, updated 12 October 2026. We did not load either Delhi site ourselves, so the exact screens may differ from what we describe.
Some websites also list other Delhi food department addresses. Those could not be confirmed, so check them against nfsa.gov.in before use.
What epos.delhi.gov.in shows
Delhi's AePDS site shares the common page structure used by several AePDS-model states, including MP, Bihar, Assam, Punjab, Haryana and Tripura. On these sites you will usually find:
- FPS sales register (FPS_Trans_Abstract.jsp): transactions shop by shop
- Sales and stock abstract (Stock_Interface.jsp): stock received and sold
- Key register (KeyRegCards_Interface.jsp): count of ration cards and units
- Complete abstract (CompleteAbstract.jsp): an overall summary
These reports are mainly useful to see whether your shop received stock and is distributing it. Whether Delhi's site also has an "RC Details" search, and what it asks for, is not confirmed. For MP, a secondary source says RC Details needs month, year and RC number, but Delhi may differ. Our AePDS RC Details guide explains the general pattern.
How to check Delhi ration details: step by step
- Open nfsa.gov.in and look for the Ration Card State Portals page, or use the official links on this page.
- Confirm the address bar shows epos.delhi.gov.in or nfs.delhi.gov.in before you continue.
- On the allocation page, look for a search box for the ration card. On the AePDS site, look for "Reports", "Transactions" or "Stock".
- Choose the month and year you want to check, and your circle or shop if asked.
- Type your ration card number only on the official page. Compare the allocation with what you actually received.
- If the screen looks different, look for the closest menu name. If the page does not load, try later, because government servers get busy around month end.
How much ration should a Delhi card get?
Delhi follows the National Food Security Act. Under NFSA, as stated on nfsa.gov.in:
- Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) households get 35 kg foodgrains per household per month.
- Priority households (PHH) get 5 kg per person per month.
Since 1 January 2023 this grain has been free under PMGKAY, and the Cabinet extended free grain for five years from 1 January 2024. Delhi-specific extras, if any, are not covered by our fact sheets, so check with your circle office. See ration card types for more.
Migrants in Delhi: using One Nation One Ration Card
Delhi has many workers from other states. Under One Nation One Ration Card, an NFSA cardholder can lift full or partial ration at any fair price shop in India using the existing card, after Aadhaar authentication on the ePoS. Family members back home can lift the balance on the same card.
- Find a nearby shop and check entitlement in the Mera Ration app.
- For portability problems, call the national helpline 14445.
- A DFPD letter of 25 June 2024 says e-KYC can be done at any FPS regardless of domicile, so a migrant need not travel home just for e-KYC.
e-KYC and card status rules to know
According to news reports on the TPDS (Control) Amendment Order, 2025, in force from 22 July 2025, e-KYC of eligible households is to be done every five years, and cards with no ration lifted for six months can be temporarily disabled pending verification. If your Delhi card stopped working after a long gap, ask your circle office about verification and e-KYC.
Face-based e-KYC is possible through the NIC Mera eKYC app, which uses Aadhaar OTP and face authentication. The fair price shop remains the fallback. Read the MP-focused e-KYC guide for the general flow.
Safety tips
- Use only addresses listed on nfsa.gov.in. Lookalike "aepds delhi" sites may show adverts or ask for personal details.
- Checking reports and allocation is free. Do not pay agents for it.
- Never share an OTP with any caller, even one who claims to be from the food department.
- For state helpline numbers, see the official toll-free list at nfsa.gov.in State_UT_Toll_Free_AA. For other states, see our all-states AePDS directory.
